Automatic reminders
Reminders Propozit sends your client for you, and when they stop.

Propozit can email your client a short reminder for you when nothing has happened for a while. Reminders are on for every organization; proposals sent before reminders came to Propozit never get them. Portfolios never get them.
There are four kinds. You set the timing under Settings → Reminders:
- Not opened yet. Three days after you send, if nobody has opened it. At most two.
- Opened, not signed. Five days after the last visit. At most one.
- Valid-until date coming up. Three days before the date, once for each date.
- Payment still due. Seven days after signing, or after your last Request payment, for the instalment that is due now. At most two. Propozit doesn't know when later instalments are due, so it never reminds your client about one you haven't requested. An automatic reminder is not a request: it doesn't count towards the 3 a day.
Reminders go out on weekdays between 09:00 and 17:00 in your organization's timezone, and never more than one every two days for a proposal. Your own Send again or Request payment restarts the clock, so your client never gets an automatic email right after yours.
The email is short and in the proposal's language. It comes from your organization's name via Propozit, and replies go to the proposal's contact person. It says which proposal it is about, links to it and, for a payment, shows how to pay. It never pressures your client and promises nothing.
Reminders stop as soon as your client opens the proposal (for "not opened"), signs, declines, asks for a change or says they've paid. They also stop when the proposal expires or goes to the Trash. Publishing a new version starts a new series.
Turn them off or change them
- For everyone: untick Send automatic reminders under Settings → Reminders.
- For one proposal: set Automatic reminders to Off in Deck settings, untick Remind them automatically when you send, or select Turn off for this proposal in Activity. For a signed proposal, use Activity.
In the editor, Activity (under More) lists every reminder, the next one, and anyone who stopped them. On the Overview, a proposal that needs you shows when its last reminder went and when the next one goes.
Every reminder has a link at the bottom, and many email apps show their own Unsubscribe. With one click your client stops reminders for this proposal, or all reminders from your organization. Emails you send yourself still arrive. Proposals sent through the API or an AI assistant follow the same settings.
