Follow up when they read it
You send a proposal and then you wait. Did they open it? Did they get to the price? Is it a good moment to call, or too soon? Most follow-ups are a guess: a friendly email after a week, sent whether the client read the deck that morning or has not opened it at all.
Tracking replaces the guess with what actually happened, so your follow-up can start where the client is. If they spent four minutes on the pricing slide, that is the conversation to have.
The activity panel
Each proposal has an activity panel. The preview at the top of this page uses made-up numbers for the Halden proposal from the demo; it shows the kind of picture you get, not live data.
Opens and a first-open alert
Every time the deck is loaded, the open is logged; later opens are linked to the reader only when they agreed to read tracking. The first time your client unlocks the proposal with an email code, the person named as the contact on the proposal gets an alert, so you know the moment it lands.
Each proposal also shows a status that follows from what really happened: Draft, Published, Changed, Sent, Opened, Change requested, Declined, Signed, Payment due, Paid or Expired. No statuses to update by hand.
Read time per slide
Propozit measures how long each slide is on screen while the client is actually there: time on a tab left open overnight does not count. Read time is saved as the client goes, so a deck closed halfway still tells you where they stopped.
Read time is about the proposal, not the person. It tells you which slides got attention, such as the cases or the pricing, and which were skipped.
Your client decides. A small bar on the proposal asks, in their language, whether you may see which slides they read and for how long. The bar also tells them that you can see the proposal was opened, and by which address if they used an email code. Read time starts only after they choose OK. With No thanks you still see the opens and the first-open alert, but no read time.

An Overview of all your proposals
After you sign in, the Overview shows what needs you today: a proposal opened but not signed for three days, a change your client asked for, one about to expire, or one sent and never opened. Below that sit this month compared with the same point last month, your pipeline with what is still open, and the latest activity.
The numbers cover the proposals you have now, and prices in different currencies are never added together.
Better follow-up timing
Put together, opens and read time tell you when to pick up the phone. A client who read the whole deck twice in a day is ready for a call. A client who stopped at the scope may have a question about it. A deck that was never opened needs a different nudge from one that was read in full. Our guide on following up on a proposal covers what to say in each case.
No third-party trackers
Client decks have no third-party trackers and no advertising cookies. They load their fonts from Propozit itself, as the live demo does. The only measuring is Propozit’s own first-party read timing, only after the client says OK on the proposal, stored with your proposal in the EU and shown only to your organization. The privacy page lists what we collect and describes read timing.
