Why we built Propozit

Propozit is made in Bangkok by the team behind We Do Dev Work, a development agency. We built the proposal tool we were missing ourselves.

Vincent Trienpont, founder of Propozit

In Vincent's words

The problem

At We Do Dev Work we made every proposal in Canva and Google Docs. There were copies of copies, a few templates, and several versions going round at once. Prices had to be updated by hand, and we wrote proposals in three languages: English, Dutch and Thai.

A proposal took us about half a day to put together. Once it was sent, we had no idea whether the client had opened it.

Then a client signed a version with our old, cheaper rates.

So we built the tool we were missing: Propozit.

What Propozit does about it

Each pain from that story, and what we built for it. Everything here is available today.

  1. BeforeCopies of copies, and several templates

One price list and one template for every proposal

You set up your price list once, and a standard for each type of work: its default products, texts, schedule and deals. Every proposal starts from them, not from an old file.

  2. BeforeSeveral versions going round, and prices updated by hand

One live proposal, priced from your list

A proposal is one deck with versions, notes, undo and history, sent as one link. Prices come from your price list with live totals, so nobody retypes a rate, and checks before you send flag a missing project price.

    The deck editor
  3. BeforeProposals in three languages

    Decks in your client's language

A deck can be in English, Dutch, French or German. Totals, dates and the agreement follow the deck language, and your own texts can be kept in all four. Thai is not one of them.

    All features
  4. BeforeNo idea whether the client had opened it

    Opens and read time

You see when a proposal is opened and how long each slide is read, so you follow up at the right moment.

    Tracking
  5. BeforeA client signed a version with old, cheaper rates

    Signing in the proposal itself

Your client signs in the proposal you sent them, not in a copy of a file, drawn or typed. Both sides get a signed PDF.
