Compare plans side by side
The comparison slide: adding it, linking columns to plans, the cells and heading rows, what the client sees, and printing.
Updated
The comparison slide shows your plans next to each other, up to six: what each one covers, and what it costs. Your client can choose a plan right there, and the price page follows. It works for any kind of offer with plans, tiers or packages, such as group insurance, a care plan or a software licence.
Add it
In the editor, select Add slide, then Investment, then Comparison. It goes after the selected slide; put it just before the pricing slide, so the client compares first and then sees the totals. The Group insurance proposal type has one already, which you fill in under Compare the plans in the prices step.
Columns and plans
Each column is one plan. Under Linked to, pick a plan from the proposal's prices: the column then takes its name and price from that line and follows the price list. Rename the line and the column's title follows. Remove the line and the column stays, unlinked, with its last name and its cells. A column you add by hand stays until you remove it. Note under the title adds a short line, such as Most chosen.
Rows and cells
Each row is one thing to compare, such as a yearly limit. For each plan, a cell is ✓ Included, – Not included, Text for your own words, or Blank. Add heading row groups the rows under it, such as Hospital or Dental.
What your client sees
The plan your client has chosen is highlighted, with a band and Your choice, and it follows every change on the price page. Each other linked plan has a Choose button, which picks it on the price page too. On a phone, each plan becomes a card with its own rows.
Printing
In the signed PDF and when printed, a long comparison runs over more pages, split between rows. The plan names repeat at the top of each page, so every page can be read on its own.
