Set up your brand
Upload your logo, set four colours and two fonts, and watch the deck preview change as you edit.
Updated
On this page
Your brand is what every Propozit deck is dressed in: a logo, four colours and two fonts. You set it once for the whole organization. While you edit, a preview shows a sample deck in your brand, so you can see the result before you save.
Open the brand settings
- Select Settings in the sidebar. On a phone, open Menu first.
- Select the Brand tab.
Upload your logo
The logo is shown on your deck covers. A transparent PNG works best.
- In the Logo card, use Logo file to choose an image. PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 2 MB.
- Select Upload logo.
The logo is saved straight away; it does not wait for the save bar. To take it off again, select Remove logo. A new upload replaces the old logo.
If the file is not accepted, the card tells you why, for example "Use a PNG, JPEG or WebP image" or "The logo must be 2 MB or smaller".
Set your colours
The Colours card has four fields. Each has a colour square and a hex code, such as #1f2a44, kept in step.
- Main colour: headings, buttons and dark slides.
- Second colour: small titles and highlights.
- Background colour: light slides and the page behind the deck.
- Text colour: body text on light slides.
Most brands keep a white background and near-black text. While you type, the preview keeps the last valid colour.
If two colours are hard to read together, a warning appears under the fields after a short pause. It names the problem and the contrast ratio, for example when your text colour is hard to read on your background, or when headings in your main colour are hard to read on your background. Text on your main and second colours needs no warning: the deck picks white or black for it, whichever reads best. The warning is advice: you can still save, but your clients will find the deck easier to read if you follow it.
Choose your fonts
The Fonts card has two menus: Heading font and Body font. Both offer the same sixteen fonts, grouped as Sans serif and Serif.
- Sans serif (twelve): Inter, Lato, Manrope, DM Sans, Work Sans, IBM Plex Sans, Plus Jakarta Sans, Outfit, Figtree, Space Grotesk, Bricolage Grotesque and Montserrat.
- Serif (four): Playfair Display, Fraunces, Source Serif 4 and Lora.
A common choice is a serif such as Fraunces for headings and a sans serif such as Inter for body text. You cannot upload your own font. To use other fonts in one deck, see Choose a design for your deck.
Check the preview
The preview sits next to the form on a wide screen and shows A sample proposal in your brand: a cover and a pricing slide from the demo deck, shown with your logo, colours, fonts and organization name. On a smaller screen it becomes a small cover that stays at the top while you scroll, labelled Your cover, as you edit.
Save your changes
As soon as you change a colour or a font, a bar appears at the bottom: You have changes to save.
- Select Save changes to keep them. A Saved notice confirms it.
- Or select Discard to go back to what was saved.
Nothing changes for your organization until you save.
Slide backgrounds
Every deck uses your colours in three ways:
- Dark: the cover, section slides and the thank-you slide are filled with your main colour.
- Soft: story slides, such as the challenge and the terms, sit on a soft tint of your main colour.
- Light: the rest sit on your background colour.
To change one slide, open it in the editor and set Background to Auto, Light, Soft or Dark. Auto follows the list above.
Most slides have a small title in your second colour above the heading, such as Scope or Investment. Type your own in Small title, or clear Show the small title to leave it out.
A footer shows your name, the client and the page number on every slide except the cover, full-screen photos and the phone view. To leave it out, open Deck settings and clear Show a footer on every slide.
Where your brand is used
Your brand is used by the preview on this page, by every deck you build (see Build your first proposal), and it ticks off Set up your brand in the Get ready list on the Decks page.
Next, add your legal name and address on the Company tab, and invite your team.
