How we write our guides
Every guide and blog post on Propozit is by Vincent Trienpont. This page explains how a piece is made, what we check before it goes live and what we never do.
Who writes
Vincent Trienpont is the author of every article. He has run agencies and consultancies for 20 years, and has written and priced their proposals all that time. His name on a piece means he has read it and stands behind it. About Vincent.
How a piece is made
- We pick a question that freelancers and agencies search for, and decide what the piece gives that the top results do not: a worked example, a template or a checklist.
- A first draft is written with AI assistance, from Vincent's notes and his experience as an agency owner.
- Every fact and figure is checked against a source, the official one where there is one, and linked where it appears.
- Automated checks look at length, links, sources, the sums in examples, filler phrases and what the piece says about Propozit.
- A separate reviewer, which did not write the draft, scores the piece against our writing standard. A piece that falls short is rewritten or dropped.
- Vincent reads and approves it. Nothing is published without his approval.
These steps apply to every piece published from 20 October 2026. Guides published before then are being brought up to the same standard one by one. Until that is done, some figures in them have no source link yet, and their section on Propozit may lag behind the features page.
What we do not do
- We do not invent statistics, quotes, customers or results.
- We do not use client stories. Worked examples use made-up numbers and are labelled as examples.
- We do not give legal or tax advice. Pieces on contracts, VAT or signatures cover the basics and link to official sources.
The dates on every piece
Published is the day a piece first went live. Updated changes only when the content changes in substance, not when we add a link. Last checked is the last day we checked its facts, prices and links again.
Propozit in these articles
Propozit is our product, and most pieces end with a short section on how it helps. That section uses the same status as our features page: available, in the live demo or coming soon. Propozit is in early access and free to start.
